The environmental expertise of SRSL is both complemented and supplemented by our own in-house software and IT services division. The integration of these services help to reinforce data management, archiving and presentation of results to the end user.  In addition, SRSL offers software and model development expertise, website creation and hosting capabilities along with GIS know-how. These are available through SRSL independently or as part of a wider package of marine environmental services.

The multi-disciplinary approach that underpins the work of SRSL is strengthened by the strong IT capabilities of the organisation.  The incorporation of data management and GIS expertise into a given project, enables representation of complex spatial and temporal datasets to maximize interpretation and data handling, resulting in professional delivery of the end product to the customer.  This can be further supplemented through the provision of website services and brand development opportunities, enabling bespoke solutions to be created for your company/project.  This facility plays an important role in maximising the availability of results and facilitates the exchange of information through public or restricted webspace. Data management tools can be fully integrated into the web site environment, greatly enhancing efficiency and enabling the rapid transfer of data to interested parties.  In addition real-time, web-based, data relay is now available offering the potential for environmental parameters from a remote site to be transmitted and displayed through a web-based portal.
